RIVER KING PHOTOGRAPHY

Great Passion for Nature

These photos are from my trip to Castlegar, BC.  I will add more description about the trip later.

My original thanksgiving road trip to Castlegar got cancelled at the last minute, but I still took a short road trip to Horseshoe bay and Whyte Cliff Park in the West Vancouver.

This set of sunset pictures were taken back in September this year.

I was going to take this road trip on Thanksgiving long weekend, but the weather was just not good enough for the trip, so I cancelled the original plan and made it a week later.  This set of photos are true road trip photos.  Enjoy!

Around the same time of last year, I paid a quick visit to Reifel bird Sanctuary, but I got there very late and it was about to close, so this time I went there much earlier and was able to walk there for a while before the rain came down on us.  The photos were random, and most birds there are ducks, as you can see. :)

The English Bay is famous for having the best view of sunset, but unfortunately when I got there today, it was too cloudy.  The cloud was so thick that Sun could only let some light coming through.  So not much photos taken, however, I like what I have gotten… hope you will like them as well.

I had lived in Langley for a little while and I saw the beautiful country side all the times, but had never driven around to capture the beauty.  Until after I left there, I actually went there and got some photos, how ironic!  But yesterday was a warm and nice day, and still felt like we are in the summer, so I took the advantage of the weather and drove around with a friend who knows the place well.  I only shot a few pictures as I was not completely ready to shoot this type of scenery so it was kinda aimless.  I am sure I will shoot more in the future and comes up with a better album.

As promised, I am posting some random photos from my old days in USA.  A lot of them were shot with slides film and some are back to early 2000.  Enjoy.

This past Monday was the British Columbia Day.  I have been living in BC for over three years, and have shot quite some photos around lower mainland.  Many of these photos were posted, but some were not.  I’m taking this opportunity to post some photos that were taken in BC and they are presented in random order.  Enjoy!
